One of my FAVORITE things about being an event planner is discovering new catering companies/people. I love having the opportunity to meet other women who want to share their culinary talents with the rest of us cooking-challenged folks. Being of (at least part) Pakistani-decent I had a hard time finding restaurants that served authentic Indo-Pak food that was healthy and tasty at the same time. Recently I had the pleasure of meeting Talat of Talat's Kitchen who made a
shami-kabob (spiced minced-meat patty) roll like my mama use to. She wanted to bring her love of cooking authentic Pakistani (Panjabi) cooking to the Northern Virginia area.
Her menu items are varied, reasonably priced, and down right yummy. She offers weekly specials and an extensive catering menu for up to 20 people.

At this time she is a "hidden-gem" located in Arlington, Virginia. Give her a call for your next party or craving for Indian/Pakistani food tell her Zaiba sent you ;o)
As always have an eventful day.
