Monday Morning Quarterback...

A representative of Capitol Event Firm, Zafar Hasan (AKA "my hubby") reporting his experience to us live from the Super Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana.  We will be bringing you a 2 part series on the experience and how Indianapolis is an underutilized conference/meeting town.

When one thinks of having a conference, meeting, event in the Mid-West area, the first city that pops up is Chicago.  Being born and raised in Chicago I do have to say I am partial to hosting events there (go Bulls) though their 2nd cousin Indianapolis (or cutely nicknamed "Indy") is a valid choice when planning a conference or meeting for your company.

Indianapolis,being located in the mid-west has the benefit of being a centralized meeting place for your conference attendees.  With their airport recently undergoing renovations and the ease of getting around within the airport it really can be a great destination place for your travelers.


"Indy" like it's cousin Chicago is a walking city (great for Green Meetings) with access to over 200 restaurants, 24 hotels (4700 Hotel Rooms), and 745,000 square feet of exhibition space!
