Conference Chaos!

Sorry for the short "black-out" period but the few weeks leading up until a conference requires that "all hands be on deck" and now that The Energy Foundation Efficiency Conference is over we at Capitol Event Firm can slow down our pace a little bit (or at least until the next conference).

As with any event no matter how much time goes into making sure all the details are covered; inevitably things get thrown at you at the last minute.  As an Event Manager your job is to handle all the behind the scenes chaos so that to the attendee the event looks seamless even when it is not.  In order to do this effectively you MUST develop a good relationship with on-site event managers!  They are the ones who will help facilitate all of your last-minute adjustments so that your event can be as flawless as possible.  Service is one of the BEST things about the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center!  (Thank you Jamie, Rene, Josie, Danielle and your FABULOUS staff).

Besides being centrally located in the HEART of Washington D.C. they are able to accommodate a small board meeting of 20 to an exposition with over 1000 attendees.  On top of all that they have award winning chefs constantly creating unique menu options that will make all of your conference attendees bellies happy!!  A mark of a great support team (on-site event management) is when at the close of the event you are a bit melancholy and I always am when leaving the Ronald Reagan Building; perhaps that is always why I keep going back!

Until next time, I hope you have an eventful day!!
